The Alyssa Project all started a year ago through simple yet powerful videos and blogs from the Founder and CEO herself, Alyssa Gadson. It wasn't about necessarily creating anything business to her, but all about showing and getting people to understand what its like to live with and after all of these traumas. For those who are related to someone who can relate to her, she wanted to bring them an understanding & help them be compassionate to those suffering.

So, maybe a little history of where this all comes from? Alyssa was born with chemical imbalances & has had seizures throughout her childhood. That's not all. In short, she has been through molestation, rapes, homelessness, self harm, mental illnesses, depression, abuse, neglect, and much more.
So after the videos and the blogs, people started to respond back. People from all parts of the globe responded through the internet. They reached back out to her with their stories as well, some relating to her, some wanting understanding and help, some wanting encouragement. Once she started seeing how many others wanted to be reached out to & helped, that drove the passion behind what is now this project today, The Alyssa Project. Alyssa already reaches out on a daily basis to alot of people and is very serious about geting others to see & experience overcoming all these things for themselves.

So what exactly does this project want to do for people? We want to reach out, help and empower those going through any or all of these traumas. We want to show them that, not meds, not doctors, but their inner strength is what can truly conquer all of these traumas & pain. They have the power within themselves to truly make a change in their lives, as well as their family and friends to encourage them to be of support along this critical path to recovery & self success. Of course, we would love to be a part of this the entire way.
